Because of the volume of inquiries on vehicles through Internet emails, phone calls, and visits to our dealership, and in order to be fair to all customers, our policy regarding the sale of vehicles online is as follows: 1. We will not hold a vehicle for any customer without a deposit or an approved loan.
2. An approved loan is defined as follows: (1) a loan is approved through a bank that Cogswell Motors goes through, where we have the approval for the full amount on-site. (2) a loan through an outside finance company where we have faxed in-house a copy of the check for the full amount. In the event of an approved loan through either of these avenues, the customer has 2 business days to take delivery of the vehicle unless previous arrangements are made.
3. If a customer is driving from a considerable distance from us and does not want to put down a deposit, although we cannot hold the vehicle, we will make every effort to contact the customer should the vehicle sell before he or she arrives.
