Our family has been doing business with Cogswell Motors since 1995. They service all our Ford vehicles for us and really go the extra mile to make sure that everything is done right. We live with in 15 miles of 3 Ford dealerships, yet we drive about 140 miles round trip just to have the oil changed and tires rotated. I am sure the prices are about the same (I've never checked anywhere else) at the other Ford dealers but I know the service techs and advisors at Cogswell Motors and trust the work they do in the quicklane as well as the service dept. It's worth a little time and a little more gas to drive to Cogswell's and know that everything is going to be done correctly the first time. We are a brand loyal family we have driven Fords as far back to my great grand dad but we are also loyal to our dealership. If I need a part for one of our vehicles - something that is an easy fix - I call and order it from the parts dept. at Cogswell. When a family member or friend is looking for a new or used vehicle I ask them to just call and talk to someone at Cogswell. Then they end up buying a vehicle from Cogswell and they understand why we make the hour drive each way to trade with Cogswell Motors. Having said all that I will tell you why we have traded with them for so long. It's because when you walk through the door into the showroom or into the service dept. or quick lane they know who I am and not just that I drive an 07 Mustang GT but they know my name, my wife's name and even our dogs' names. That makes you feel good to know they care enough to remember who you are and not just a face they see every now and then. They treat me and everybody I have sent up there to buy a vehicle like you're their number 1 priority. You don't get moved around from here to there and meet 12 people when you just want to buy a car. And when the quick lane advisor tells you that something is wearing on your vehicle and needs attention you can bet there is a true concern and that he isn't just trying to sell parts and labor. In fact a perfect example just yesterday I took our 06 Expedition in for oil change, tire rotation and transmission flush. Dave Austin the quick lane manager asked if I had changed my fuel filter recently. He looked up the history and found it was due for a new one so I had him put one on. The expedtion gained 1.5mpg on the way home with cruise control set on 72mph on the freeway just as I did on the way up there that morning with the climate control set at the same temp with the a/c on. With gas being as high as it is every little bit you can save on fuel mileage is a plus so I really am glad Dave asked me about it. We have bought new vehicles in the past; But this is the best experience we have ever had!!! I would recommend Cogswell Motors to anyone looking for a new Ford product.
